Jumoke Adebayo
Founder, CEO
As the first child of working parents, I got introduced to the kitchen very early. My Mum taught Foods and Nutrition and Home Economics at the secondary school level so I watched her cook, bake and try out different recipes.
After secondary school, I proceeded to a federal polytechnic to study Food Science and Technology at the OND level. This is a course that deals with production, processing, preservation and packaging of foods.
I studied another course in the university but my interest in food has really grown. In 2013 and 2014, I went to learn baking and catering at two different centres. Also, I did a number of online training on food and drinks.
In 2017, I organised my first online training where I taught people how to make different types of cakes, pastries, breads, shawarma, pizza, mayonnaise and so on.
Here in the UK, I have done short courses like Food Allergy and Intolerance, Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering level 2.
I’m also passionate about healthy eating and that is why I’m interested in importing Nigerian food products into the Uk.
So you see, that is why Jummietreats is very passionate about quality, hygiencally prepared and tasty foods.
